Partial subsidy for the execution of projects that may include: 1) Development and manufacture of new products, improvement of existing products, including advances in design and clean technologies; technological changes in production or organizational processes or 2) Promotion of good production practices, environmental performance and the productive use of industrial waste. The percentage of the subsidy may depend on the type of submitted project as well as the budget composition of the eligible investment. The amount to be granted may be up to $2.300.000 (uruguayan pesos). The following sectors are considered: Section C - Manufacturing Industry, Division 10 to 33 of the International Standard Industrial Classification Revision 4 (ISIC Rev.4). In addition, industrial waste treatment activities are included: 3821.0, 3822.0, 3830.0 of Section E Division 38. In the 2021 call, priority will be given to the Food sector (Reformulation: improvement of the nutritional profile related to sodium, sugar, and fat content), Plastic sector (Migration to the use of compostable materials), and Forestry/Wood sector (Wood engineering products, glued elements solid wood, embedded wood with finger joints, thermally modified wood, remanufactured wood, wood grading, etc.).
